how scoring a goal can make you happy…

Saturday mornings as our soccer days, so when hubby is home we all go, when hubby is away we all go minus him!

On Saturday however a lovely friend from church offered to take the twins with her to a birthday party she was going to, we both figured that Annabelle would never want to leave me and Harry it was a given he would come with me!

This is Dominic’s first year playing soccer and we have always encouraged him to just go out there and enjoy himself! That it’s OK if he doesn’t score goals, as long as he has fun with his friends!20120716-222534.jpg

The past few weeks however he has totally started to come out of his shell and really become a little more confident when he plays, so much so he’s gotten Player of the Game twice in a row!

He’s been getting in there and defending the ball, helping his teammates score goals and this week scored his own goal!

We are so proud of him and love seeing the confidence come out in him!

I’m sharing this today as apart of a new series that Fiona over at My Mummy Daze is running where we share some of the good things happening in our life and not focus on the negative things! I love its concept and see it being a really great way for myself to focus on the good and not the negative!
