As a writer there is bound to be one day when you sit down to the computer and wonder…. what am I going to write about today. Do the readers of my blog really want to know that today I have cleaned up vomit from a sick child, had a child fall asleep on my lap as she wasnt feeling well. That I didnt get to do any housework and that I have three loads of washing sitting on my dining table ready for me to put away into the kids drawers. That I really need to go through the childrens drawers to take out the clothes that dont fit. That I have a box full of baby clothes to soak and wash ready for a friend of mine who’s due to have a baby in the next week.
No of course you dont want to know that, or you could want to know that cause your my Mum and you love to read everything that her grandbabies are up to every day!
So what to do when you dont feel like writing a lot about your day… you go blog surfing of course!
I have really enjoyed some of the posts that are floating around the blogsphere today and wanted to share a couple with you!
Did you know that today is Roald Dahl Day,? Nope me either, but I remember him being one of my favourite authors growing up and Lisa blogged about him today!
My children love animals and the new Wild Life Sydney opened their doors today and the lovely Trish and her adorable twins attended today, I loved looking at all her photos and how much fun her boys had!
With spring here, I’ve been spring cleaning the kids playroom, so I’m trying to declutter the house, so its interesting how people throw out their trash and people love to look through it, Jodie blogged about it today and the excitement of cleaning out the junk! Thats something we need to do again soon I think!
Now that I’m cleaning the house, I’m aiming to be more organised and what better way to organise than with a gorgeous new organiser, Kellie got a gorgeous new organiser, one that I know that I’m going to want one of now! I love how it comes in a couple of different colours!
And the beautiful Naomi is a fellow jewelry lover like me and today blogged about a GREAT way to sort necklaces to no longer have them getting all tangled.
I think I’m going to have to take some of Alyce’s tips for being organised, now that I’m in the organisation mood! She guest posted over on the lovely Larissa’s blog while Larissa is working this week!
While we are taking Alyce, I wish I had her as a big sister, with her little sister getting married soon, she has written a beautiful letter to her in the weeks before she gets married. Also sending out some girly hugs to my friend Tara, we are here for you sweetie xxx
I know that as my kids get older I’ll have to go through this, but Norlin has a valid point when it comes to girls clothing range that are currently out, I’m glad that my girls are still so little!
Who doesnt love a giveaway, and as a fellow migraine suffer I completly understand how Tina feels when she gets them, and this amazing Gel Mat sounds like the perfect thing to help with them, and just great to lay on in summer when its strinking hot in bed! Be sure to go over and have a look and enter!
As bloggers we become apart of fellow bloggers lives, by reading their blogs and commenting on their posts, so when Melissa blogged today about being involved in peoples lives it really made sense to me. I know that I feel for friends when I hear they are having a bad day, how I wish I could be there for them, and I love to celebrate with them when they have joys in their lives!
Photography Buffs… Be sure to check out the Photography Challenge hosted by Kellie tomorrow, you might see a photo from a photographer you know… hint hint me hint hint!!
I love my bloggy friends, they know how my made my day! xx
