Want some of my healthy chocolate….thankfully, I’ll share!

Thats right… healthy chocolate! Bet you never thought you would hear that in a sentence!

I’m combining two blogs themes today, a review of a new family favourite and linking up with Kate Says Stuff’s Thankful Thursday! Tricky I know!

In our house its not uncommon to go through 3-4 packets of rice crackers a week, thankfully its something that I know I can get my kids to eat, anytime, anywhere! . The favourite flavour in our house is Sundried Tomatoes and Basil. We have rice crackers with cheese, or even with peanut butter, the kids even ask to have nutella on them…we are a weird family!!

So when we were asked if our kiddliwinks wanted to try out the new range of Rice Crackers by Table of Plenty we jumped at the chance!

Table of Plenty is an Australian based company started by Kate Weiss after looking for a business to run while at home with her young children. You can read more of her story here. I love finding Australian based companies, and with school holidays coming up, I’m always lokoing for quick morning/afternoon tea snacks for them. They will be great for school lunches as well! They just recently have been released in Coles and at only $3.99 a bag, its a health fix at a bargain price!!. The best thing is they are also Gluten Free!

With three different flavours of Milk Chocolate, Dark Milk Chocolate and Triple Berry Yoghurt and with only 15 calories in each one, its a great snack for kids, or even mothers who are currently doing the Michelle Bridges 12 Week Challenge, which I’m totally thankful ladies!  (<<< Thats me in case you were wondering!) Its been a great way to get my chocolate fix as the chocolate on top of these mini rice crackers is of the highest chocolate and the combining of chocolate and cracker is both delicious and totally not what you expect.. Be aware though… you might put your hand in to grab another one, onlyl to realise… they are all gone already!!!

My kids favourites were naturally Chocolate, especially when Mum told them they were allowed to have a couple of them and before dinner time! With no colours, preservatives or flavours in them, I’m thankful knowing that they are good for my little ones

Nicholas and Dominic before we devoured our Chocolate Rice Cakes!

What I find funny about my kids, is they all have a different way of eating the same thing!Dominic will just put it in his mouth, not allowing the chocolate to melt on his fingers!

Nicholas  will totally have the chocolate upside down so that he’s feeling it on his tongue!Makayla will eat her’s while trying to get minimal amount of anything on her fingers… little princess!

Annabelle will shove that thing in her mouth, while also talking asking for another one… tom girl totally!

And Harry….

He’ll pout when they are all gone!!

I’m thankful for these gorgeous little people, who make my world go around and bring so much love, joy and happiness to their Daddy and Me!

So why would I tempt you with all these photos of these yummy chocolate crackers…

Well you can win a packet for your little munchkins!

  13. I follow with google friends (chonny88) and FB liker as Chon Ky.

We will be bike riding to the beach now that it’s warming up & doing plenty of craft.

  14. a bit of relaxing is in order we have been so busy this term i think we all deserve some time off :0)

  15. As my little Miss is too young for school, we use the school holidays as a chance to catch up with all of her big cousins – picnics, bike rides, pizza and movie days. I enjoy it more than they do, I think!

  16. Lol, the photos of all your kids holding the crackers differently to eat them are cute, but most especially the pouty face which is almost identical to my youngest’s pout – just adorable!

  17. My plans for these school holidays (not that we have school holidays as such because we homeschool!) is to explore the Sunshine Coast area with four of five boys!
We love going to the beaches so I think that is what we will do.

What will you guys be doing?

  19. I’m not entering because I just won some… Can’t wait for them to arrive. If they’re anything like Table of Plenty’s other products they’re going to be fabulous. If you haven’t already you should try the muesli – delectable – or the dukkah – delicious! My kids are too little for school holidays to mean anything just yet but we do have to rearrange some plans because the local shopping centres become SO busy!!

  20. A trip to the cinema (or two) is definately on our holiday agenda :) I’m looking forward to it as well!

  21. Interesting combination. I can’t wait to try them.

  22. I plan to take my 2 year old twins to the beach!! This mummy needs to toughen up and get a little sun tan while bubs have fun in the sun! with a hat abd plenty of baby sunscreen for the little ones of course!! :)

  23. Well, firstly a bit of a sleep in is in order. Take our time getting ready for the day. I’m planning on taking my kids to the movies to watch “The Smurfs”, hopefully the little one stays still on the seat – am I asking too much?? We’ll also do some baking, if I can stand the mess, perhaps I’ll take them to a play centre and have lunch there. Some shopping and relax with a coffee for me and doughnuts for the kids. Ahh, who said school holidays are relaxing?? :))

  24. Plans for the holidays canping the long weekend looking after my cousins kids, motorbike riding with the big kids and probably some craft and cooking. As well as enjoying not having that morning school rush
